How Audra got a free roof – I’m totally serious!

I’m not kidding….I wanted to share the details with you so you can benefit from my knowledge and experience.   I have personally referred two friends who also received a “free” roof.  I wanted to verify they were as pleased as I was with Dr. Roof  before sharing with the Aha! Connection.

Here are the basic steps:

  1. I called Kirk Goodrick with Dr. Roof  (404-427-2263)
  2. Kirk examined my roof and said I had hail damage.
  3. I called my insurance company (State Farm) to set up an appointment for them to inspect the roof.
  4. State Farm inspected WITH Kirk Goodrick (he came back to inspect with them) from Dr. Roof and State Farm agreed I had hail damage.
  5. State Farm sent me details of what they would pay and Dr. Roof inspected the documents and sent in an appeal for me to get the insurance to add additional funds to meet specific City of Dunwoody code.
  6. State Farm sent me a check for the EXACT amount that Dr. Roof charged for my roof.  (I did have to pay my deductible and also for a few damaged plywood boards under the shingles that were not covered by insurance).

It really was that easy.   I will mention that I was simultaneously trying to get a new roof for my rental house.   Neither Dr. Roof nor the insurance company found evidence of hail damage at my rental house in North Brookhaven so I had to actually pay for that roof.   I had NO IDEA that I had any damage until Dr. Roof told me.   So… whether you have hail damage or not it wouldn’t hurt to call Kirk Goodrick with Dr. Roof and have him inspect for you.  The inspection is free and if he finds hail damage you may be able to get a free roof!

Tell Kirk I sent you….I told him that I thought so highly of him that I’d send him some business 😀
