Dunwoody UMC’s One Lamb mental health initiative will host An Evening with William Cope Moyers on Thursday, October 12, from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in DUMC’s Sanctuary. Mr. Moyers is the vice president of public affairs and community relations for the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. His best-selling memoir “Broken” chronicles his personal experience of addiction, recovery, and redemption. On this special evening, William Moyers will share his personal story, his journey of faith and how the church community can support recovery among congregants and in the larger community.
