Thousands will be gathering in unity at The Home Depot Backyard at Mercedes Benz Stadium this April to help raise awareness and tackle food insecurity as part of the Atlanta Community Food Bank’s annual Hunger Walk/Run. The family-friendly event is slated for Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 1 Backyard Way in Atlanta. The event kicks off at noon and is open to the public.
The afternoon will be filled with a 5k walk/run, live entertainment, family-friendly games and interactive
activities, food trucks and more. To participate in the Hunger Walk/Run, or for more event details, visit www.hungerwalkrun.org.
Individuals and organizations may also support the Hunger Walk/Run through financial contributions or they may choose to dine at participating restaurants from April 14-28 to raise additional funding for the
cause. More than 50 restaurants are participating in the Dine and Donate initiative. Programs may vary by location. For a list of participating restaurants, visit www.acfb.org.
