Become A Volunteer Host-Parent To An International Student

The Foundation for Worldwide International Student Exchange (W.I.S.E) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization headquaryered in Tennessee with a local office in Marietta, GA. W.I.S.E is seeking volunteer host-parents for high school exchange students arriving in late June and/or July 2013 for the upcoming 2013/2014 academic year.

Students arrive with a strong desire to succeed academically and to fulfill their dream of living with an American family, attending an American school and simply experiencing the American culture as a whole. Students are between 15 and 18 years of age, have their own spending money, accident and health insurance as well as english proficiency sufficient to attend local public and private schools here in Georgia.

Are you or your high school student interested in learning a new language, a new culture, studying, volunteering or working abroad? How does immersion in the comfort of your own home sound? Students are from such countries as:

? Germany
? Italy
? Spain
? Norway
? Netherlands and so many others

Do you reside in Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina or South Carolina? Well, it doesn’t matter where in the U.S. you are, I can assist. Contacting your local representative to become a host-parent to an internationalhigh school or collegiate student is a W.I.S.E decision.
