One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, four! Birdcage is gearing up for a festive block party on Sunday, May 5th, 2024, in honor of Cinco De Mayo. Beginning at noon, the blocked-off parking lot to the vibrant Grant Park Latin-inspired haunt will transform into a sun-soaked fiesta. With swift counter service at the roll-up windows, guests are invited to indulge in a specialty menu created by Executive Chef Shaun Whitmer featuring Citrus Adobo Chicken, Chicken Tinga Tacos, street corn, tofu tacos and more. An outdoor walk-up bar will be serving refreshing options like Dos XX, Tecate, House Margaritas, Premium Herdura Margaritas and more. To take the party up a notch, Birdcage will have a live DJ, interactive games and more surprises in store. Birdcage’s Cinco de Mayo Block Party is from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. and free to attend.
