Brookhaven, GA, January 11, 2017 – by Trey Benton – For approximately 50 years, children in the immediate area and beyond have participated in youth sports leagues at Murphey Candler Park. And, prior to the formation of the City of Brookhaven, the leagues had long running agreements with DeKalb County to have primary use of the parks fields and facilities, many of which were constructed or improved for the continued use of the Murphey Candler Girls Softball Association (MCGSA), Murphey Candler Baseball (MCB) and the Atlanta Colts Youth Association (ACYA) in mind.
