Brookhaven Residents invited to ‘Chat With the Mayor’

As the City of Brookhaven begins work on its mid-year budget adjustment and 2016 budget, we want to hear from residents about what our priorities should be.

Mayor Rebecca Chase Williams will be on hand during the next two weeks to hear from you, so come ready with your ideas, suggestions and questions or just to chat.

“As your new mayor, I want to get a chance to meet all of you and hear your priorities and concerns as we prepare to begin budget discussions,” Mayor Williams said. “So come on out, bring the kids, enjoy our parks and some refreshments, and let’s chat!”

Drop by the Lynwood Park Recreation Center on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 10:30 a.m. for our morning chat, and later that evening at Food Truck Wednesday at Blackburn Park, starting at 5 p.m. Visit us again Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 10:30 a.m. at Ashford Park Recreation Center at 10:30 a.m., and then again that evening at the Food Trucks. Light refreshments will be provided.

And if you can’t make it, email us at news@brookhavenga.gov with the subject line “Chat With the Mayor” so we can hear your ideas.

Ashford Park is located at 2980 Redding Road, Lynwood Park is located at 3360 Osborne Road and Blackburn Park is located at 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road.
