Primrose School of Dunwoody will be at Light Up Dunwoody again this year with a complimentary cookie decorating activity for the families. This year we thought that it might be a nice addition to also offer an opportunity for families to get involved in sharing with others, as we kick off the holiday season. Throughout the month of November, Primrose students participate in the local Can-A-Thon food drive, which provides non-perishable food items to families in need. We will be offering the opportunity for families to bring items to Light Up Dunwoody at our booth as well.
Can-A-Thon (Light Up Dunwoody)
The annual 11 Alive Can-A-Thon food drive kicks off this month as Primrose School of Dunwoody’s Caring and Giving Helping Hands project for November. The Primrose Caring and Giving program actively connects children to those who are in need.
At Primrose Schools, we pride ourselves on helping children to become active members in their community as well as throughout the world. We want our children to learn about generosity and how to be kind toward one another as a way of life, without expectation or reward.
Looking for a way to get your family involved?
Stop by our booth at Light Up Dunwoody with any non-perishable food item. In addition to our complimentary cookie sugar cookie decorating, donated by Alon’s Bakery, we will have a box to collect items for Can-A-thon. Your donation will go a long way in making this holiday season memorable for your family and others in the area.
