Tiny house being built in Brookhaven

For three days in Blackburn Park, volunteers will build an entire tiny home in one weekend under the direction of Randy Jones of Incredible Tiny Homes, featured on HGTV, Tiny House Hunters, and Nifty Homestead. Light Up Brookhaven to celebrate holidays

The city of Brookhaven will host its annual Light Up Brookhaven tree-lighting event Nov. 30 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Blackburn Park, 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road.

Oglethorpe University launching business school with $50M gift

Oglethorpe University will receive a $50 million gift from alumni Bill Hammack to establish a business school.

The gift is 10 times larger than the biggest gift the university has ever received – $5 million from the Robert W. Woodruff Foundation. Brookhaven begins construction on Ashford Park trike track

Brookhaven’s “Year of Progress” continues when the City begins construction on Ashford Park’s new tricycle track on Monday, Sept. 18. The project is expected to take about two weeks to complete, weather pending.
