Hello!
My name is Sarah Henderson and I have lived in the Philippines for the past 2 years working for a non-profit called “Children’s Garden”. Children’s Garden is a home for former street children 12-18 years old. We cater to neglected, abandoned and abused children and provide a safe and loving home, education and skills training.
On Saturday November 5th at 6:30-8:00 pm we will have a family fundraising dinner at Dunwoody Baptist Church(1445 Mt Vernon Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338) to raise money for medical funds for our children as well as our outreach families who are in great need for medical care.
Not only is this a dinner but we have an incredible children’s program set up that your children will be able to do a hands on service project that will be brought to people in need in the Philippines in December. Along with the service project there will be fun Filipino games, songs, crafts and lots of fun! You don’t need to pay for a babysitter for this Saturday night! It’s all included!
We will have delicious Filipino food and lots of desserts. Ticket prices for adults are $20 and children (12&under) are $10.
