City of Dunwoody Municipal Court Holds Amnesty Program to Settle Outstanding Violations and Reduce Arrests

Amnesty Program to run the month of August 2018 for individuals with past due traffic citations and/or active bench warrants

The City of Dunwoody Municipal Court is holding an Amnesty program for individuals with past due traffic citations and/or active bench warrants for failing to appear in court. The incentive of the program is to promote lawful driving privileges, settle outstanding violations with the court and reduce arrests.

Amnesty will run during the month of August 2018 at the Dunwoody Municipal Court located at 4800 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody, Georgia 30338. Individuals may walk-in to the Municipal Court on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays or Fridays during the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. only, no exceptions.

During that time if individuals pay their fines in full, all contempt fees will be forgiven. If the individual’s offense(s) requires a mandatory court appearance, the individual will be granted a future court date to appear before a Judge and all warrants will be cleared and warrant fees forgiven.

Forms of payment that will be accepted are cash, money order, cashier checks, and credit cards (Visa and MasterCard only.) No Personal Checks. For more information, please contact the City of Dunwoody Municipal Court at 678.382.6973.
