Condesa Coffee is excited to present Spoken Word, a monthly literary series on the first Wednesday of every month throughout the fall. The first event of the series kicks off at the Auburn location on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, with renowned FocusATL poet, Ron Manager and American Culture Reporter, Han Vance. The event will start at the Auburn location from 3:30-4:30 p.m., and will continue to the John Wesley Dobbs location from 7-9 p.m. An intimate but open atmosphere, newcomers and patrons alike are welcome to experience performances and short literary readings, poetry reading, book excerpts, short stories and more.
The perfect afternoon or after-work destination, the Old Fourth Ward and Downtown favorite, Condesa Coffee, offers not only homemade gourmet coffees, and teas, but also unique cocktails, hand-selected wines and craft beers from local breweries. Guests can spend their Wednesday evenings with coffee, cocktails including the specials of the evening: The Old Fashioned and the French 75, bites and more at Condesa. The show is free with a purchase from Condesa and street parking is available. The literary series will continue through the end of the year with the next upcoming events on Wednesday, October 5, November 2, and December 7, 2016.
