On Tuesday, April 19, 2016 Cypress Street is teaming up with Woodstock, Georgia’s Reformation Brewery to host a unique multi-course and beer pairing dinner. Inspired by the world travels of Reformation Brewery’s owner, the evening will feature a delectable five-course meal to pair with the hand-picked Reformation beers. Like so many in the craft beer world, the Brewru, Rob Merrick, wants to reform the way we drink beer. No more mindlessly knocking back bottle after bland bottle. The beers he’s blending for the dinner have unique colors, rich smells and flavors that deserve to be sipped, not chugged. Chef Duane Styka at Cypress Street Pint and Plate is of the same mind. What happens when these two literal tastemakers come together? They concoct a jet-set culinary journey that includes five plates, five (partial) pints and a behind-the-scenes look at the brewing process. For $79, guests can enjoy tasteful plates from across the map while sipping on local craft beer.
