DECATUR, Ga. – In anticipation of inclement weather and dangerous road conditions, the DeKalb County Sanitation Division has suspended all administrative and field operations for Tuesday, Jan. 29. Collection service for residential and commercial customers, transfer station operations, landfill operations and administrative services will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 30, during normal operating hours, weather permitting.
Collection service for the remainder of this week will run one day late as follows:
Tuesday, Jan. 29 – No residential and commercial collection service due to inclement weather.
Wednesday, Jan. 30 – Tuesday customers to be serviced on Wednesday, Jan. 30.
Thursday, Jan. 31 – Wednesday customers to be serviced on Thursday, Jan. 31.
Friday, Feb. 1 – Thursday customers to be serviced on Friday, Feb. 1.
Collection service for commercial customers will run one day late.
