Jr. Varsity Football Undefeated
The JV Wildcats capped a perfect 6-0 season with a 41-14 beat down of Chamblee. Big plays on both sides of the ball propelled the Wildcats to the lopsided win.
On offense, QB Matt Pearch tossed three TD passes, with Joe Fortenberry catching one and Danny Boden collecting 2. Porter Allison and Caleb Hamilton also caught long passes from Pearch.
The defense played fast and aggressive all night, forcing several turnovers. Henry Mullins and Karter Felix each had an interception for the Wildcats. The victory was sealed when Jayden Saintil jumped a screen pass and returned the interception 45 yards for a TD. The defense added another TD late in the game when Rhett Hesprich hustled down to recover a high snap on a punt in the Chamblee end zone.
Congrats to all of the players on their undefeated season. And thanks to the JV Cheerleading squad, fans and families for the team spirit and support.
