Dunwoody restaurants that rely on lunch crowds need our help!

With many companies still working remotely, demand is down. So let’s support our small businesses by making #DunwoodyDining a priority during lunchtime (or really anytime!). Snap and post photos using this hashtag to spread the word. #LetsDoLunch #Dunwoody

Here’s a note from the Dunwoody Mayor on her FB page this morning regarding “Let’s Do Lunch”

Good morning! And Happy September. On a weekly basis, I call or visit Dunwoody restaurants’ owners or managers. First, they are incredibly grateful for all who are supporting them, whether eating in or ordering for pick up or delivery. Second, almost all restaurants are struggling with the dramatic change in the lunch business. With so many companies not yet returning to their offices, I know you all understand the dramatic shift in demand for lunch.

So, #Dunwoody has launched #LetsdoLunch a campaign to remind everyone to eat local and do lunch at your favorite restaurant occasionally. *breakfast and dinner too! Help us spread the word by sharing your local dining experiences on social media with a #LetsdoLunch and #Dunwoody

As a reminder, the City has placed picnic tables around the city and so please don’t hesitate to use these when you get lunch.

Additionally, it is Tuesday, and we will be collecting pantry items, canned goods, cleaning products, diapers at Malachi’s this afternoon between 4-6 PM. 4755 N Peachtree Road
