The Dunwoody Tavern Turns 21!

21 Years and Legal to Drink The Oldest Pub in Atlanta Celebrates Twenty First Birthday

On Saturday, November 4, 2017, The Dunwoody Tavern at 5488 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, GA 30338, will be celebrating 21 years of serving up ice cold pints and hand battered fresh fish & chips as the Oldest “Pub” in Atlanta.

Come join us as we roll back the prices to 1996.  Every beer, cocktail and glass of wine will be offered at 1996 prices in celebration of this great event.  We will be featuring “The Bad Neighbörs” performing live with a great selection of live auction items.  All auction proceeds will be going to Camp Twin Lakes.  We will also ride the clock through Midnight to November 5th to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night.

Guy Fawkes was in the cellar of the Parliament in England with 36 barrels of gunpowder on November 5th, 1605, when the authorities stormed the cellar in the early hours.  Fawkes was caught, tortured and burnt at the stake.  His foiled plot to blow up the Parliament is celebrated every year in England and is most known for the famous line, “Remember, Remember, the 5th of November!”  Expect many late night surprises once the clock strikes twelve!

The fun begins at 8pm with 10% of all proceeds going to Camp Twin Lakes.  Camp Twin Lakes is an organization that is very near and dear to our organization.  It is a unique nonprofit organization in Georgia with campsites, day camps and hospital-based camp programs designed specifically for children with serious illnesses, disabilities and life-challenges. The Dunwoody Restaurant Group’s start was established in 1996 with the opening of The Dunwoody Tavern.  The Tavern then led the way to expand and develop the future of our group. We are now the leading pub company in Atlanta with seven operating locations in the greater Atlanta Metro area with our 8th location opening in October in East Cobb.
