Dunwoody Teen sets goal to feed 1 Million children in need

Canons-M.A.D.-Youth-ChallengeWHAT: Benefiting SERV International Canon’s M.A.D. (Make A Difference) YOUTH CHALLENGE is engaging youth worldwide to help fund 1 million meals for children living in the deserts of Kenya. Started by Canon Kuipers, a 16 year old actor with a cause, his campaign partners with SERV International to provide nutrient rich meals to this specific, remote region at just 5 cents a meal! Through SERV, $5 feeds 100 people and 100% of all donations go toward feeding those in need. GOAL: To inspire 10,000+ youth to participate in the challenge, raising just $5 each for SERV International’s SERV 1 FEED 1 program. To raise $50,000 for 1 million meals for children living in the northwest desert of Kenya… one of the poorest regions of the world with little access to food and water. To show youth they can #MakeADifference globally, helping those in desperate need. WHEN: The campaign runs the entire month of March 2016. HOW: Donations can be made to SERV International online at servone.org/donate to the SERV 1 FEED 1 program with Canon’s M.A.D. Youth Challenge in the comment section. Mail checks, payable to SERV International, to Canon’s M.A.D. Youth Challenge c/o SERV International – 3145 Marietta Highway Canton, GA 30114. Finally…“SHOUT OUT” that you made a difference and challenge your friends and family to make a difference too! Canon will be tweeting the creative ways you raise funds for the campaign. Be sure to post a video or a photo using the hash tags #YOUNGandMAD and #MakeADifference and tag him on your own social media pages. Use the “I just fed 100 people in need #YOUNGandMAD #MakeADifference” graphic that can be found on Canon’s Instagram, Twitter or the SERV Youth Facebook page.
