Elizabeth McCall Needs Help to Donate Buzzy Devices to Children at CHOA!

Hi! I am Elizabeth McCall, a junior at Marist School. I’ve always had a passion for STEM and community. This passion inspires me to help children suffering from cancer or other blood disorders. I want to help children feel better when they get their needed injections and IVs. I’m working with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s (CHOA) Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorder Center to donate pain-relieving Buzzies to help children in need. Donations will directly benefit CHOA’s pediatric patients with cancer or blood disorders. A Buzzy is a handheld device that acts as a massager to naturally and quickly minimize sharp pain (from 50-80%) from needle sticks like blood draws and finger pricks. Many children at the Center experience this type of medical treatment. We would like to help alleviate as much pain, as possible, for CHOA’s patients. Unfortunately, the reality is Buzzies are expensive and outside of CHOA’s budget. We would like to donate as many Buzzies as possible to help as many children as possible. We need you! We need your help to meet and possibly exceed our $2500 donation goal for Buzzy purchases. Donate here!
Thank you!
