A Novel Idea welcomes Joshilyn Jackson
Special October format for the free, literary event held monthly at Crema Espresso Café in Dunwoody
DUNWOODY—New York Times and USA Today bestselling novelist Joshilyn Jackson will join members of her Atlanta writing group for A Novel Idea on Oct. 1 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The free, monthly literary event is held at Crema Espresso Café, located at 2458 Mt. Vernon Road.
Jackson, the author of 10 novels including gods in Alabama, The Almost Sistersand her latest book, Never Have I Ever, will join Atlanta authors Anna Schachner and Ginger Eager in a special Q&A format for the October event. They will discuss their current projects, their individual writing styles and how they help one another hone their storytelling crafts.
A Novel Idea offers authors the opportunity to introduce their work, and the audience a free evening of literary arts in a casual, coffee shop setting. Held one Tuesday evening each month, typical programs include readings from five authors. The monthly rosters include brand new fledging writers as well as those that are successfully climbing the bestseller lists.
Coffee, food, beer and wine are available for purchase at Crema. Each evening includes door prizes. Upcoming dates include Nov. 12, 2019 and Jan. 7, 2020.
