GYGO gatherings will occur once a month on Sunday nights from 7-9 p.m. at Moondog Growlers, 5064 Nandina Lane, Suite D, Dunwoody, Georgia 30338. Yes, MDG is a bar/growler store, and the founder of GYGO (Felicia) owns it with her husband; they enjoy finding ways to use it for Christian discipleship and came to own it as a result of the founder’s husband having a men’s group Bible study there every Tuesday night. MDG, however, is not open to the public on Sunday nights and will not serve alcohol at GYGO gatherings. Further, GYGO will not permit its participants to bring in any alcoholic beverages but strongly encourages them to bring their own non-alcoholic beverage of choice (a “NABOC”).
As space will allow, a GYGO gathering is open to any adult woman, not just particular friends of the founder or even people she knows. GYGO seeks to serve ladies who are: young, middle-aged or “mature”; mothers or not mothers; wives, widows, singles or divorcees; strong in their Christian faith, apathetic in their Christianity or not a Christian at all; stay-at-home moms, career oriented or retired; church goers, “Chreasters” or opposed to organized religion. You get the message – all adult women are welcome.
