Heritage Sandy Springs Museum and Park Farmers Market will open for its 11th season on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at 220 Mt. Vernon Hwy at City Springs. The Market, with over 40 vendors, is open every Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. from April 11, through September 26, and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. beginning October 3rd through December 12th.
The Heritage Sandy Springs Farmers Market features fresh, local, and organic produce, along with pasture-raised meat and pork products, farm fresh eggs and dairy products, fresh breads, and a wide variety of specialty and prepared foods, as well as jewelry and other artisan items. Coffees and lattes, as well as hot and cold breakfasts are also available.
Every week features a musician, with Bitsyland String Band as the first featured musician on April 11th.
Vendors in this year’s market include returning vendors as well as some new products. Returning vendors include Fry Farm, Alta Cucina, TK Gourmet, Strive Foods, Poco A Poco Farm, Fairywood Thicket, Georgia Grinders, Paw Prints, and many more. A few new vendors include, Hearts of Harvest Farm, Darden’s Delights Pies, Real Cajun Market Sausages and other vendors with fresh juices, flowers and plants, artisans and much more.

In addition to the Farmers Market, Heritage Sandy Springs Museum and Park also offers children’s programing. Each month at the Farmer’s Market, Little Diggers engages kids ages 6-10 in horticulture and gardening beginning May 2nd and continuing June 13th, July 11th, August 8th, September 12th and October 10th.
