M’name’s Caleigh, and I’m an Irish lass from my sparkling brown eyes to my willowy white tail. At 120 pounds, I’ll never be mistaken for a faerie, but I do love a good roll on a grassy, green knoll. I’m seven years old, just hitting the prime of my life. M’ Da has had me since I was a pup, but hard times have come and he’s had to set off to find work in far-away lands. Before he left, he sat me down and said, “Caleigh, me girl, you’re the apple of me eye, but ya can’t come with me this time. Not to worry, dear,” he said with a tear in his eye. “The kind folk at GPRA have promised to find you a family who will love you as much as I.” I hope that’s true, as I am a good family dog. I am a low-energy girl who enjoys children, dogs, cats, and even the occasional faerie. I am not fond of being alone, but am I am fond of sleeping on the floor by your bed.
