High School Girls’ Safety/Self Defense Training – Saturday, Feb. 29, 3pm at Dunwoody Baptist Church Fitness Center

Teen girls face a higher than average risk of attacks by strangers, and 1 in 6 girls will experience a date rape before turning 22. Additionally, Atlanta is a top city in the world for child sex trafficking, and the average age of a victim is 12-14. Are you confident that your daughter understands these risks and knows how to stay safe? This training class taught by Revved Up Kids is for teen girls and will teach participants to recognize and avoid dangerous situations and people, and to escape an attacker if necessary. This two hour event includes the following components:
Target Avoidance Training, Social Media Safety, Relationship Violence, Physical Self Defense Training, Improvising Weapons, and Responding to a Weapon.
