I’m in trouble with my 7th grader and need adult followers

Strangely enough, one of my New Year’s Resolutions associated with making Aha! Connection improvements is to post more on Instagram.  I’m around and about town often and love to take pictures so why not post and share?  Quite frankly, I just forget.  So I’ve been trying to do better for these 30 days of January and have posted a grand total of FOUR times.   Before January, my last post was of beautiful Hannah Keen the DHS Homecoming Queen.   So….my four January posts have actually been getting likes… but FROM 7TH GRADE GIRLS?!  I personally think it is hilarious that my 7th Grade BOY has girl…friends that follow The Aha! Connection.   I know…I know….people my age don’t use Instagram nearly as much as middle-schoolers but please people…will you PLEASE boost my ego a little and take a second and follow me on Instagram?   To make matters worse…my 7th grader has critiqued every single one of my January posts.   And, he told me yesterday that he would like to “take over as head of The Aha! Connection Instagram duties”.  He made fun of my hashtag when I posted about “Your Pie”…he told me that I shouldn’t have a photo of myself as the profile picture.  I quote Master Walt Anders when I say:  “Mom, you need something Dunwoody as your profile picture….it’s The Aha! Connection’s page not YOU. ”   Gee…I have a lot to learn.   I actually think I’m going to let him take over for February.  You’ll need to follow me on Instagram to see the improvements!
