Community Assistance Center

Donate to CAC Today and Make a Difference for our Neighbors with your donation, CAC can buy gifts for children from their wish list! Our “elves” will use your donations to shop for children in our community whose families need help in making the holidays a special time. Or, if you’d like to shop for a child yourself, you may Adopt-a-Family from our website.

Malachi’s Store House

Malachi’s Storehouse, a food pantry in Dunwoody, distributes food, baby supplies and clothing every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We seek to be both a practical resource as well as a community of compassion and kindness.  Donate here.

Solidarity Sandy Springs

Our  pantry started in March 2020 to help food-insecure families during the COVID shutdowns. That grew into a community movement to help overlooked families. It is our great honor to help those families feel uplifted, supported and food secure. 

We serve 500 Households each week & have served 50,000 Shoppers.   Donate here.

Furkids, headquartered in Georgia, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization that operates the largest cage-free, no-kill shelter in the Southeast for rescued cats and Sadie’s Place, a no-kill shelter for dogs. Furkids also operates one of the only facilities in the Southeast dedicated to the care of FIV positive cats. The Furkids mission is to rescue homeless animals, provide them with the best medical care and nurturing environment while working to find them a forever home. Furkids heals the whole animal, physically and emotionally, restoring its health and its spirit. Furkids has rescued and altered more than 55,000 animals since its founding in 2002.

Lighthouse Family Retreat

Lighthouse Family Retreat is a faith-based non-profit that exists to strengthen every family living through childhood cancer. We host restorative retreats and develop helpful resources so that families and their support systems can find hope in God and help in their fight.
