Wreath contest announced
The City’s annual “Light Up Brookhaven” holiday event is Thursday, Dec. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Blackburn Park, 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road. This FREE event features special musical performances, visits with Santa (parents welcome to take pics), Christmas & Hanukkah crafts, hot chocolate sale, refreshments, and lighting of Christmas tree and Hanukkah display. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped gift for Toys for Tots. The City is also holding its first wreath contest. Winners will be announced during “Light Up Brookhaven,” and winning entries will be displayed at City facilities. The deadline is Dec. 3. For more information and contest rules, click here.
