Source: The Brookhaven Post Brownie Troop #14579 from Montgomery Elementary School (MES) recently presented a check for $500.00 to the MES School Board to help with the building of a new playground. The girls say they hope the playground can be completed and ready for them to enjoy in the coming school year. The donation comes as the result of the students’ hard work selling cookies this Spring by hosting local cookie booths, online sales and good old-fashioned door-to-door salesmanship.
