It may be a bit chilly and cold outside today, but we are anticipating a warm spring and have completed the installation of our tree swings as part of the front meadow improvements that we have made over the course of the year (added 13 garden beds and tool shed, added picnic benches, building a new trail from the meadow to the education building). The tree swings were accomplished with the help of two of our corporate partners: REI who funded a grant to purchase the materials needed for the improvements; and Arborguard who donated the professional installation of the tree swings. All of the other improvements to the front meadow have been powered entirely by volunteers.
