The Dunwoody Community Garden & Orchard kicks off its first Master Gardener educational session of the year on Sat., Jan. 14, 11a.m. Learn about the Soil Food Web from DCGO founding member Rod Pitman of The (organic) Veggie Patch, and Master Gardener Ann Bone. Photos, notes and Rod’s secret recipes for the compost necessary for organisms to grow plants free from disease, pests and infertility will be shared. Second Sat. of the month sessions are held at the greenhouse complex, opposite the skate park at Brook Run, 4770 N. Peachtree Rd. www.dcgo.org.
