PALS FALL 2018 Program

PALS (Perimeter Adult Learning Services) is presenting another outstanding program running for 8 weeks on Mondays beginning September 17, 2018 and running through November 5, 2018 at the Dunwoody Baptist Church. The incredible lineup of classes will include Heroes of the Holocaust, The Big Questions (such as what happens after death, do we have free will), Twins in Shakespeare, Revisiting the Civil War, Black History during the last half of the 20th Century, Game Changers (Women of the West, legends of baseball) and an in depth analysis of the upcoming midterm elections with leading journalists from the Atlanta Journal Constitution as well as prominent political science professors from Emory, Georgia State and Kennesaw State Universities. Topics will include women, minorities and the media in the election with a focus on the upcoming state and local races as well as significant races nationwide. As always, there will be Bridge and Mah Jongg.
Classes are held from 10:00 -11:00 am, 11:15 am – 12:15 pm and 1:15 – 2:15 pm and the cost is $50 for the 8 weeks. Individual day sessions are $8. Lunch, which runs from 12:15 – 1:15 pm, can be purchased in advance for $8 or can be brought from home.
