Part-Time Litigation Attorney
20-30 hours per week with flexible work schedule

Woman-owned 21 person personal injury law firm is seeking a part-time attorney with a minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience, and an interest in plaintiff side personal injury work (defense counsel are encouraged to apply). The ideal candidate should have technical proficiency gained through direct handling of civil litigation files, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in personal injury. We are looking for someone who is highly organized with a strong attention-to-detail and the ability to prioritize and complete time sensitive tasks. You must possess a genuine desire to help people and to solve problems. Integrity, perseverance, creativity, and a love of the law are critical traits of the person we are seeking.
Duties:
– Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters
– Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and other legal documents
– Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation
– Stay informed about current laws, regulations, and legal trends related to litigation
Experience:
– Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
– Georgia Bar License
– Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Civil Litigation Attorney
– Ability to draft Motions for Summary Judgment, Motions to Compel Discovery, Daubert Challenges, Written Discovery (Interrogatories, Request for Production, Request for Admissions)
– Prefer prior experience investigating new cases and writing demand letters
