PCMS Girls Volleyball Update:
All activities for the week of July 19-25, 2020 have been cancelled. There will be no training camp or tryouts at this time due to the pandemic and guidelines from DCSD and GHSA.
New head coach Jeremy Whitehead and parent volunteers are attempting to get approval for tryouts closer to the new start date of school. There will be no “Train for Tryouts” camp this year.
We encourage anyone interested in playing to contact the local clubs for drop in clinics or camps, to get a feel for the sport. There are many great local clubs, a few are listed on the PCMS Volleyball website.
We will also be updating the website in the upcoming weeks. Please take a look at the website for updates, we will keep you informed as we learn new information.
As we await guidance from DCSD, please prepare your athlete for some changes. I would anticipate this year to be less competitive, and more developmental, although we do hope to participate in some tournaments with other local schools.
