Use the County’s Tax Commissioner website for comparable home sales or find a Realtor for help in getting comparable home sale values. Use sales completed in 2014.
File an appeal every fourth year to freeze the assessed value says tax appeal expert Walter Hotz. It’s worth the effort to freeze your value even if the appeal is unsuccessful.
