Dunwoody, Ga. – More than 800 people participated in the 16th annual Tartan Trot 5k

and 10k road race on Saturday, Feb. 12. The annual Dunwoody tradition started and finished at Saint Luke’s Presbyterian Church, which sits on the corner of Mt. Vernon Rd. and Manhasset Dr., and raised funds for mission work done locally and around the world.

“Among other things, this race allows us to help sponsor a Habitat for Humanity house every year. Literally, this race puts a roof over someone’s head,” said Associate Pastor Shannon Dill. “We are fortunate and thankful for a community that has embraced this annual winter tradition, and we are grateful for everyone’s patience and support,” the Rev. Dill continued. “This race helps support mission work and projects locally and around the world to bring hope to others in ways that will impact lives for the better.”

Founded in 1969, Saint Luke’s is a faith community with more than 700 members that welcomes warmly, gathers joyfully, worships deeply, thinks critically, and serves others devotedly.
