Description:
Case Managers work directly with clients, third parties, providers, and insurance companies. The ideal candidate is comfortable with computers, operating within case management software, and general office tasks, and excels at verbal and written communication. Case Managers are responsible for handling fact-finding projects and gathering and organizing documents and information.

Responsibilities:
*This position is full-time, in-office, Monday – Friday, 8:30 am-5 pm.

Responsible for case management of Social Security Disability claims at the plaintiff’s law firm Responsible for an individual caseload of 250-300 cases
Primary duties include, but are not limited to – communication with prospective and current clients throughout the disability appeal process; gathering medical and other evidence to establish a period of disability; communication with various government agencies (Social Security); overall case workup for SS disability cases to prepare the case for attorney hearings before Administrative Law Judges
Works directly with attorneys to evaluate and prepare disability claims

Qualification Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Experience in customer service is preferred Highly organized and detail-oriented
Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
Knowledge of case management software, Filevine is not required but preferred.

Salary: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year BOE
