STAGE DOOR THEATRE HOSTING FREE COMEDY EVENT WITH DAD’S GARAGE

Stage Door Theatre is hosting a free comedy event on Saturday, June 18. Professional improvisers from Dad’s Garage will be performing two shows at 2:30 and 7:30pm at Stage Door Theatre.

The hit comedy show from Dad’s Garage: A Dose of Comedy is coming to Stage Door next week. Dad’s Garage describes the show thusly, “If laughter is the best medicine, consider Dad’s Garage your doctor. (Note: we’re not doctors. But we know folks who are, and BOY do we love listening to them!) Join them for a night of comedy and laughs featuring entertaining stories from champions of your community, and leave feeling better than you arrived!”

This show is in conjunction with The Urban Clinic of Atlanta. The Urban Clinic will be providing free vaccinations, information about vaccines and $50 gift cards for every dose taken. Visit them at urbanclinic.org.

Because Stage Door Theatre and Dad’s Garage are dropping their vaccine requirement for this show only, masks are required, not just recommended. Proof of vaccine is not required for either of the shows above.

This is a free, general admission event, so no tickets are required. Seating will be first come, first served. Please contact Stage Door Theatre with any questions at contactus@stagedoortheatrega.org.

Next month, Stage Door will also be featuring a cabaret of Atlanta artists singing hit songs from movie musicals. Details soon to come to Stage Door’s website.
