Summer Outdoor Adventure Program for Teens – Open House

We want to share information about a summer outdoor adventure program for teens that my sons have participated in that we absolutely love. Our son Mason attended a three-week outdoor adventure program this past summer in British Columbia, and other summers in Colorado and the Pacific Northwest, and he had such an amazing time! Adventure Treks runs three- to four-week programs for teen boys and girls in North Carolina, California, Colorado, the Pacific Northwest, British Columbia, and Alaska. The kids get to camp, hike, rock climb, whitewater raft, kayak, mountain bike, and climb mountains like Mt. St. Helens in Washington. The instructors (who Mason loved) focus on building tight-knit communities where students are encouraged to be their best selves, in addition to trying new activities and having lots of fun. Take a look: www.adventuretreks.com I’d like to invite anyone that may be interested (parents and teens!) to attend an Adventure Treks presentation at my house on Tuesday, November 10, at 7 p.m. One of the directors, Josh Goldbach, will be there to talk about what trips will be offered in 2016, what they strive for kids to achieve on their trips, and the different activities that students do, and he’ll answer any and all of your questions. It will only last an hour, and I encourage you to bring any friends who you think might be interested as well. Just let me know you’re coming via email: dararedler@bellsouth.net. We can’t wait to share our experiences with you! Sincerely, Dara, Dan, and Mason Redler
