Thanks and New Year’s Resolutions!

This was fun to do and I’m sure y’all get tired of hearing from me all the time so I am enjoying sharing the below submissions from Aha! Dawgs, Gators, Tide etc. mad but

The older I get, I realize how much I have to be thankful for:

– my family and the health of my family

-my faith

– my loyal and supportive friends

-the experience of letting my girls grow up in a “small town” feeling community, like Tucker was when I was growing up

-and of course, the opportunity to go to Arizona to see the Auburn Tigers play for the National Championship

Regarding resolutions…..To be more organized (which I am taking a break from to write this email) and to focus on living healthy in 2011!

This is a nice way to end/start the year!

“I am thankful for my sweet little family, that they are happy and healthy.   My resolution this year is to spend 30 minutes each day doing something that is good for my mind and body….exercise, meditation, healthy cooking and eating, prayer, etc.     Marcy “

What I am thankful for:

Along with being grateful for a healthy and loving family, we are also thankful for our additional “family member” these past 20 months. Mikael Lucien (3yrs) from Haiti, who has blessed us with his smiles, hugs, and funny personality, will hopefully be reunited with his parents in February. We are so thankful to all who made his surgery and recovery successful, including CHOA and our own Dr. Gfroerer of Dunwoody Pediatrics who has generously seen Mikael for general pediatric care, free of charge.

New Year’s Resolution:

Keep a cleaner house and cook more meals for my family (which would only be greater than five per year!) since my husband does most of the cooking now.
