A statement from the artist:
I come from a family of artists and have wanted to make art for a living since I could hold a crayon. I did my first paid illustration at age fifteen and a year later started a mural and sign painting business which got me through high school and financed my attendance at the University of Georgia where I earned a BFA in Studio Art. After graduation I worked in the movie special effects industry before moving into graphic and web design, all the while continuing to work on the side doing the murals, sculptures, and illustrations that are my passion. Eventually, my freelance work grew to a point I could do it full time and for the last 15 years, I’ve enjoyed creating art in a wide variety of subjects and mediums. I also teach art classes for senior citizens, adults, and kids and it’s a thrill to share my love of art with them. Read more here.
