Tree-Planting Marks 20th Anniversary of Dunwoody Tornado

April 9 @ 10:00 am11:00 am

April 9 will mark the 20th anniversary of the tornado that devastated Dunwoody and took down so many of our beautiful trees.  To commemorate this date and to continue on the path that the Dunwoody tornado set us on in the creation of the Dunwoody Preservation Trust, we take this opportunity to plant 2 specimen trees on the grounds of the Donaldson-Bannister House at 10:00AM on Monday, April 9.

The trees are being selected from our landscaping plan for the Donaldson-Bannister House & Gardens and will be a great way to commemorate the anniversary of the tornado that so changed the landscape of Dunwoody.  This is a great opportunity for the Dunwoody community to join us at the Donaldson-Bannister House as we celebrate the re-planting of Dunwoody that brought DPT founders to realize the need for us to come together to preserve Dunwoody and to give us back our beautiful trees.

Join us for the tree-planting and see for yourself all that has already been accomplished at the Donaldson-Bannister House & Gardens.
