What is a Dunwoody Deed…..? Pay it forward!

What is a Dunwoody Deed?

  • A Dunwoody Deed is a good deed from a fellow Dunwoody resident. When you receive a Dunwoody Deed, pay it forward and do a Deed for someone else. The concept is similar to the “You’ve been Booed!” for Halloween.

What can I do now?

Since receiving your Dunwoody Deed there are a few things you can do.

  • Share your Deed and tag us on Facebook (linked here)  @Dunwoodydeeds
  • Hang up the poster provided in your window to spread the message of doing good.
  • Most importantly pay it forward by performing a Dunwoody Deed for others.

What is the point of this?

  • The goal of Dunwoody Deeds is to bring the strong community we have here together (while staying apart) and to brighten somebody’s day.

The Fun Part

The possibilities are endless to what your Dunwoody Deeds can be,  but we have a few ideas to get it started. Dunwoody Deeds can range from a  simple care basket or buying groceries for someone in need.
  • Care baskets with candles or candy
  • Gift cards from local business to help support them
  • A bouquet of flowers
  • Nice notes of encouragement
  • Cook a pan of brownies
  • Donate to a Charity in their name
