The Wildcat football program has hired Coach Ricky Aspinwall to serve as its Defensive Coordinator. Coach “A” has worked with Head Coach Nick Bach for the past two years at Mountain View HS in Gwinnett County. He is very familiar with the Defensive system that Coach Bach brought with him from the University at Buffalo. In 2013, the UB Bulls led the MAC in several Defensive statistical categories (Sacks, Turnover Margin, Opp 3rd Dn %, Opp 4th Dn %, etc…) AND featured the #5 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, Khalil Mack (LB – Oakland Raiders).
