News from City of Dunwoody about the Parade & Fireworks

On Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 9:00 a.m., the Dunwoody Homeowners Association and the Dunwoody Crier Newspaper  will host the annual Fourth of July Parade   featuring marching bands, floats, clowns, animals and local celebrities. Last year the parade attracted more than 2,500 participants and 32,000 spectators!

The celebration continues on Sunday, July 5, 2015, at the the Concourse Corporate Center lawn with the annual fireworks display hosted by the City of Sandy Springs. The band, Shiloh, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin at 9:45 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to pack a snack, bring a blanket, and enjoy an evening under the stars as fireworks illuminate the sky above the iconic King and Queen buildings. Pets, tents, outdoor cooking and personal-use sparklers will not be permitted.
