Aha! subscriber Debra Jansen wrote in June to tell me that she and her husband, Donald, have written a debut novel, Scar Tissue, a medical drama/romance under the pen name Debra MacDonald. They have lived in Dunwoody/Sandy Springs since 1990. Don is a cardiologist at Emory St. Joseph’s and Debra is a photographer. They decided to co-author this novel about two years ago and it is now published and for sale on Amazon!
Debra sent me a copy of the book and I finally had a chance to read it this weekend. I love that she and her husband found a project like this to work on TOGETHER after sending their children off to college. It’s a quick read that I basically started and finished on Saturday. I liked the characters and the story and I’ve always been fascinated with medical thrillers. Get yourself a copy….you’ll find yourself rooting for Dr. Graham I’m certain!
