The kids have a chance to enjoy one last adventure before heading back to school when Brookhaven’s Parks & Recreation Departments hosts a campout and supply drive this weekend.
Held at Lynwood Park, the fun starts at 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, and lasts until dark. The event will include roasted marshmallows, hot dogs, games, activities and more.
Participants are encouraged to bring school supplies that will be donated to children in need.
