Community Assistance Center Holiday Announcements

cacgiftGive Kids Holiday Gifts Through CAC!

Generous donors have so far adopted more than 900 local children for holiday gifts through the Community Assistance Center’s Adopt-a-Family program! CAC still has families with more 100 children available for adoption this holiday season. Please Adopt-a-Family with CAC and make children’s wishes come true this holiday season. Gifts go to kids of local families in need. Find a list of families available for “adoption” on the CAC website, view children’s wish lists, and adopt online.  $50 giving limit per child. Bring new and unwrapped gifts to CAC. Visit CAC’s Adopt-a-Family at www.ourcac.org.

Help a Family Stay in their Home for the Holidays

You can help a local family stay in their home this holiday season with the Community Assistance Center.  CAC assists local families in need who are experiencing a crisis situation such as illness or job loss that is making it difficult for them to meet their basic living expenses. Your donations help families stay in their homes with rent and/or utility assistance and help provide stability to our neighbors in need when they have nowhere else to turn. Just $100 pays a utility bill, $250 helps pay rent. Every dollar donated is leveraged into much more with grants and volunteer man-power to help prevent homelessness and hunger locally.. Donate online at www.ourcac.org.
