The Dunwoody Garden Club recently donated $1000.00 to Dunwoody Police Department and I Care Atlanta’s Christmas For Kids Event. Last year Christmas For Kids provided for 250 children at the Event held at I Care Atlanta’s facility located at 5879-B New Peachtree Road in Doraville, and an additional 250 in other locations. Dunwoody Garden Club’s Elves will also be busy collecting donated gifts for the December 17th event as well as decorating the facility December 15th. Proceeds from Dunwoody Garden Club’s Annual Card Party, Luncheon and Silent Auction held each February help fund this event as well as numerous beautification projects throughout the Dunwoody area. Dunwoody Garden Club’s next fundraiser will be February 21, 2017 and is sure to be another sellout with generous donations from merchants in Dunwoody and surrounding areas.
