Dunwoody Police increase hiring bonus

The City of Dunwoody is offering a $15,000 hiring bonus for police officers to help with recruiting in a competitive job market. This represents a $5,000 increase over the previous bonus. In addition, the Dunwoody City Council approved the creation of new positions to establish a Crime Response Team, which will include three officers and a sergeant.

“We believe the $15,000 bonus will help us attract experienced officers who will make our department even stronger,” said Dunwoody Police Chief Billy Grogan. “This will also give us a hiring advantage as we build our new Crime Response Team, which answers a need in the community and provides new opportunities and challenges for our officers.”
