Role Description
This position will function as a supportive role reporting to the maintenance manager. Responsibilities will include tasks like monitoring systems, assisting in scheduling maintenance and repairs, and communicating with operators when necessary. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around aiding the maintenance manager across multiple essential areas in daily operations.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Support in coordinating all fleet maintenance activities, encompassing repairs, servicing, and scheduling preventative maintenance, under the guidance of the Fleet Service Manager.
• Analyze all rental reports for mechanical issues, documenting and communicating concerns requiring attention.
• Contribute to the upkeep, assessment, and enhancement of the preventative maintenance program.
• Aid the Fleet Service Manager in conducting mobile repairs and servicing at hubs between rental periods.
• Collaborate with the Fleet Service Manager on Nationwide operations as necessary.
• Aid with insurance and warranty claims.
• Input maintenance and logistics data into operational systems such as Hubspot, Monday.com, Fleetio, and similar platforms.
• Offer driver assistance via text and phone communication.
• Maintain inventory levels of parts and tools at both the home office and remote hubs.
• Conduct comprehensive mechanical inspections on coaches departing from the home office for rental or owner usage.
• Assist logistics in preparing coaches at the home office prior to rental, owner usage, or transportation.
• Maintain active communication with internal team members regarding the maintenance status of all coaches.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on coaches at the home office as required.
• Actively pursue maintenance-related training to enhance expertise and support clients and drivers effectively.
• Transport coaches to local repair facilities as necessary.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Fleet Service Manager and/or Fleet & Facilities Manager

Qualifications:
• Highly self-motivated with a proven ability to thrive in a remote work environment and consistently deliver high-quality results.
• Demonstrated dedication to excellence and a commitment to upholding quality standards in all tasks.
• Exceptional organizational skills, capable of effectively managing multiple systems concurrently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Mechanical aptitude, capable of performing repairs on coaches and engines.
• Previous experience working with diesel engines is strongly preferred.
• Confidence and enthusiasm for ongoing training and professional development in the RV maintenance field.
• Flexibility to accommodate a variable schedule during the summer months, including occasional weekend work.
• Proficient in coordinating with third-party vendors, conducting inspections, and ensuring accountability for all contracted work.
• Comfortable navigating occasional periods of heightened workload and stress during peak summer seasons.
• Strong team player, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
